Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Solar Power Fix collects, what we do with it, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be specific rather than broad, so you can tell exactly what happens to your information.

What we collect

The site has no accounts, sign-ups or forms that ask for your personal details. To contact a company in our rankings, you call or visit it directly using the phone number, website or Google Maps listing shown on its card; we don't see that contact.

When you email us

We receive whatever you put in the message, including your email address.

When you simply browse

Google Analytics 4 records anonymous usage data — pages viewed, approximate location by country and city, device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not receive your name, email or phone number.

Quote requests sent before October 2026

Until October 2026 the site had a quote request form that asked for a name, email address, phone number and ZIP code. We have removed it and no longer accept requests. Requests sent while it was online are stored in a file on our web server that is not publicly reachable. We do not sell or share them, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for Google Analytics 4. If and when this site carries advertising through Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and third-party vendors may set their own cookies. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and review the wider opt-out options at aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

How long we keep it

Quote requests sent before the form was removed are kept for 24 months from the date they were sent and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is useful. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on the property, currently 14 months.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@solarpowerfix.com with the email address or phone number you used and we will act on it within 30 days. You do not need to explain why, and we will not charge you.

If you are in California, this covers your rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined. If you are in the EU or UK, the legal basis for keeping a quote request sent before the form was removed is the request you made; for analytics it is legitimate interest, and you can object at any time using the same email address.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and stored requests are kept outside the publicly accessible part of the server. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything sensitive — financial details, identity documents, account passwords — by email. We never ask for them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects what happens to your information, we will update the date below and describe what changed.
